Where Do We Start?

The starting point for our Great Loop adventure has been narrowed down due to the lIllinois Waterway Lock closures this Summer/Fall.  We plan to drive across the country late summer to somewhere below the lock closures, possibly Peoria,IL. 

We anticipate there will be a lot of boats waiting to lock through above Peoria, so starting below seems like a good idea.
